Well It Beats Just Hanging Around...
In a natty tweed jacket, shirt and tie, dapper daredevil Les Pugh, 93, descended 160ft from an office block roof to raise £15,000 for two charities. He was cheered by hundreds of well-wishers as he came down the side of the Eagle Tower in Cheltenham.
Mr Pugh, of nearby Stonehouse, said: "It was lovely - just as wonderful as I thought it was going to be. I didn't feel any nerves while I was up there - I'm completely impervious to heights. I really enjoyed it."
He was one of two people over the age of 70 to descend the Eagle Tower in Cheltenham. The youngest participants were two nine-year-old girls. Money raised from event is to be donated to the Cotswold Riding for the Disabled and the Gloucestershire MS Therapy Centre.
I'm all for it if it reduces the queues at the Post Office on pension day.

Now... what did I come up here for?
